Mother's Day

For Mother's Day, one of my gifts from Mills was this carnation. He was so excited! Mills: Mom, you want to smell it. On the ride home, with him proudly holding the flower, this discussion ensued: Mills: Where are the seeds? Me: Well, probably inside the green part. Mills: Where will you put it? Me:Probably in a beautiful vase. Mills: No, mommy, it has to go where the bees can get its nectar. They need to share the pollen. Me: Okay, well, we can put it in a vase on the front porch. Mills: No, it has to be outside where the bees will see it. When we got home, we found the perfect spot (not too sunny or too shady) to plant my beautiful carnation. Just hoping the bees will find it!!!!
